Scooter is a German electronic dance band, founded in 1993 in Hamburg. 
The band is known for their dynamic and energetic compositions, which have made them one of the most successful representatives of the techno and hardcore techno genres. 
The band consists of HP Baxxter (vocals), Michael Simon (keyboards, production) and Sebastian Schilde (keyboards, production). The original band members HP Baxxter and Rick J. 
Jordan began their musical careers as part of the synthpop group Celebrate the Nun in the late 1980s. After Celebrate the Nun disbanded, they teamed up with Ferris Bueller (not to be confused with the film character of the same name) to create the project Scooter. Their first single, "Hyper Hyper", became an international hit in 1994, bringing the band instant popularity. Since then, Scooter have released numerous successful albums and singles, including "Move Your Ass!", "Fire", "How Much Is the Fish?" and "Nessaja". The band is known for their innovative approach to making music, incorporating elements of pop culture and various musical genres, which has allowed them to remain relevant for decades. Scooter is also renowned for their live performances, which feature a powerful sound and dazzling light shows. Over the course of their career, they have sold over 30 million records and received numerous awards, including Echo and Comet. The band continues to record and tour extensively, remaining an icon of electronic dance music and continuing to delight their fans with new releases and concerts around the world.
