The performance was recorded at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, Simple Minds are officially back in a big way. The iconic Scottish band have dropped Live in The City of Diamonds via BMG, a new live album that captures the electric energy of their 2024 sold-out show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome — just in time for their biggest North American tour in over 40 years.

Live in The City of Diamonds completes the band’s celebrated Live in The City series (which began in 1987), and offers a perfect snapshot of Simple Minds' unparalleled live prowess. The recording captures Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, and the rest of the band playing to a packed crowd of 17,000 fans, with a setlist that spans their trailblazing career.
