An early version of Japanese anime, Gigantor became a huge hit in Australia and the U.S. in the 1960's. Copies of this cartoon series are scarce and very expensive. Enjoy this high quality copy of a rare gem, in English

The Gigantor series is set in the year 2000. The super-hero charactor was orginally named 'Ironman' in English, but Marvel comics was about to debute their Ironman about a year later, thus the charactor was named Gigantor for the U.S. and Australia. The show follows the exploits of little Jimmy Sparks, a 12-year-old boy who controls Gigantor, a huge flying robot, with a remote control. This collection includes all 52 orginal black and white episodes.
