Church Street Shuffle is the Contemporary Fiddle and Guitar duo of Neil Ewart (Ardnamurchan) & Ali MacQuarrie (Inverness). Beyond the Standard reels and jigs Church Street Shuffle employ modern production techniques to create a multi facet live sound that them much bigger than their number. Bass pedals and looping and are used to create a fresh and up to date take on the classic highland folk duo.

“We are excited to announce our debut album ‘FIVE DAY WEEKEND’.

We worked with producer and audio engineer Barry Reid to create a fresh and modern album which we think brings the classic Highland Folk Duo firmly into the 21st century. We have honed and polished techniques we developed playing gigs in and around Inverness, employing synthesisers’s, looping and effects pedals to create a expansive and lush sound that we are very proud of.”
